Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances our ‘Retro’ night has been cancelled.
Rest assure this will be re-booked in the coming weeks so do keep an eye out for further information.
Any persons whom purchased tickets are asked to contact the centre to discuss transferring your ticket, or to request a refund.
We are delighted to host a second evening with this talented duo who are returning to entertain us. Tickets are £10 and include a light supper.
A thanksgiving service was held at St Alkmund’s Church on 15 March for the life of Dave Clarke who was Organist of the parish for many years and also a trustee and treasurer of the Beechtree. He was a much loved and valued member of the Beechtree team, providing finance support and acumen since the founding of the centre. Our condolences are with Helen and his family and we are grateful for all that he did for us.
On Tuesday 8th March, Di and Chris, both members of the Walking Football, joined Debbie Spiers of the Beechtree and Clare Ashford on BBC Radio Shropshire.
Chris has been attending the Walking Football for a number of years and has welcomed Di with open arms, since her arrival on the team in August 2021.
Our Walking Football team would love for you to join them and used the platform of BBC Shropshire to advertise their group to the wider community.

They meet on Wednesdays at the Civic Centre at 1pm and its a great way to meet new people, improve your fitness and have a cup of coffee afterwards.

We are only 1 week away from our Easter HAF Programme starting! How quickly has the time flown by?
Spaces are still available so do call in or contact us at the Beechtree to declare your interest onto a days activity. Hours will be 10am to 2pm each day, and will consist of:
Tuesday 19th April – Arts and Crafts
Wednesday 20th April – Gardening (planned indoors currently)
Thursday 21st April – Enrichment Activities
Friday 22nd April – Cooking
All sessions will include 1hr of physical activity, and will include food and drink.
All of our activities will be supervised and supported by Shropshire Youth Associations Youth Worker, Volunteers and the expertise of tutors knowledgeable in their area.

HAF
We are delighted to announce that we are proudly holding the HAF Easter Activity Programme for the children of Whitchurch.
These 4 day fun filled activities are directly towards those children who are in receipt of free school meals, with our local schools providing the vouchers for those wishing to attend.
Aimed at children 6 to 12 years, we will be holding art and craft, cooking, gardening, physical activity and enrichment sessions over the 4 days, however places are limited.
To request your place onto the programme please pop into the Beechtree and provide us with your Easter HAF Voucher. We will ask for you to complete a quick application form where you are able to declare any allergies and emergency contact information to us etc and that is it!

Join us for a fun filled afternoon, as we introduce Bingo to the Beechtree every month, beginning on Tuesday 12th April at 1pm.
Price of admission includes games, a raffle ticket, all within the comfort of our O’Neill Room.
There are many great prizes to be won, and with our Bingo sessions running monthly, you are sure to be a winner!
